After a long morning with Imogen yesterday Caitlin and I walked out to the shop together for a little break from the whining. We had barely left the driveway when Caitlin looked at me, big eyed and serious, and said:
Yes, darling, yesterday she really was. But you have your moments too!
Yesterday morning Caitlin climbed into bed for cuddles. She gave Imogen a big squeeze and kisses and I turned and held my open arms out to her ready for mine.
Shot down.
We’re at that age. The one where talking about poo and wee is funny. Yep. We’re there.
This all poured out this morning after I had changed Imogen’s nappy, all in a tumbled rush of questions. Did you know that boy poo and girl poo were different? Nope. Me neither.
Nothing like children to make you feel good about yourself.
